Look what I got in the post this week. Lucky me!! My block swap partner for February was Charlene from Louisiana. Thank you so much Charlene. I love my block and your
package of goodies was such a lovely gesture. Now I know what a lagniappe is!!
My first block swap. I am well and truly hooked...

This is the block I made for Charlene. She asked for teals and greens. I
found this block in an old Quilters Newsletter magazine. I think it turned out well. I'm so glad she likes it. Roll on March swap.

Just started working on a block for my block partner Charlene. She has aked for Teals/Greens. I've decided to challenge myself with the blocks I choose to do for these swaps, by trying something new or something I don't do very often. The block I've chosen is constructed using partial seams, which I haven't done much of, so that's my challenge this month. I'll be cutting out today. Also today I'm going to try to finish a couple of baby quilts I've been working on, Just need borders and layering. They're cute, one boys and one girls. Any day now my new little niece or nephew will be born, so for once I am ready. Happy days..

Ok. Enough Shilly shallying! I've been very lax lately with updating this blog. So... Camera in hand I'm just about to get some photos taken. . Working on a few different projects at the moment, and in light of the rising cost of fabric, trying hard to use what I have to hand. Working so far, I haven't bought anything new in ages. Still drooling over Hancocks catalogue, but being VERY good!! PHOTOS TO FOLLOW............
